About

Hi, I’m Emma — the designer and founder of Rose Lane Stitchery.

I’ve always been drawn to thoughtful details, sentimental gifts, and anything with a little old-fashioned charm. I’m the kind of person who loves antiques, family traditions, and finding the perfect keepsake for someone I love. So when I discovered needlepoint, it felt like the perfect blend of all my favorite things.

At first, I picked up stitching as a way to pass the time. My dad was in hospice care, and I was looking for something to keep myself busy. What started as a quiet distraction quickly turned into something much more—a creative outlet, a form of comfort, and eventually, a true passion.

Within months, I went from stitching tiny ornaments to tackling full-sized stockings. Always on the hunt for a new excuse to stitch, I began painting and creating canvases as gifts for loved ones. I fell in love with needlepoint not just as a craft, but as a truly meaningful way to show someone you care.

Whether it’s a “Baby Sleeping” nursery door hanger or a personalized Christmas ornament, I’ve found so much joy in creating sentimental keepsakes for the people I love most.

Rose Lane Stitchery was born out of this same love for creating and gifting sentimental keepsakes.

“Rose Lane” is the name of my grandparents’ farm — a place full of some of my favorite childhood memories. Naming my business after it is my way of honoring their love and the sense of nostalgia I hope each canvas carries.

Rose Lane Stitchery is more than a brand—it's a tribute to family, tradition and the handcrafted pieces we create with love. I'm so glad you're here, and I hope you find something that feels meaningful to you, too.
